The 32-year-old musician, best known for hits including “Life Goes On” and “Miss You,” shared an Instagram Reel on Saturday documenting his first trip to the South American country. In the video, Tree teams up with Brazilian influencer Iae Break for a day packed with soccer, bike rides, haircuts, and cooking.One of the standout moments in the clip shows the singer enthusiastically chanting “Neymar! Neymar!” in tribute to Brazilian soccer icon Neymar before taking a shot and scoring a goal himself.The Reel was captioned, “Gringo 24 horas no Brasil,” which translates to “Foreigner 24 hours in Brazil.” Tree's track “Worth Nothing,” featured on TWISTED, Fast & Furious: Drift Tape (Phonk Vol. 1), plays in the background as the pair explore the city. The post has since taken on a heartbreaking significance following the singer's death. At the time of reporting, the video had a staggering 49.3 million views and more than 2.2 million likes, with thousands of fans filling the comments section with messages of grief and tribute. Notably, it has also become his most viewed content on the platform. Tree, whose real name was Oliver Tree Nickel, died on Sunday, June 14 after being involved in a helicopter crash in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He was identified as one of the six people killed in the accident.According to CNN Brazil, two helicopters collided midair while flying over an electric vehicle yard, causing at least 20 cars below to catch fire. Local authorities told the outlet that a forensic investigation has been requested and the case remains under investigation.The other victims were identified as passengers Lucas Vignale, Gaspar Prim, also known as Argentinian YouTuber Gaspi, Lucas Brito Chaves, and pilots Alexandre Souza and Charles Marsillac.Tree had been visiting Brazil as part of The World’s First World Tour. He had performed in São Paulo on June 6 and was scheduled to continue the tour with a July 13 show in Lisbon.
