Dieter Harck and his partner Lynne Grubb
Once a fit cyclist, Dieter Harck can now no longer walk on his own.
Barely able to move his arms or legs, the 76-year-old Somerset West man has no choice but to use a walking frame or an electric scooter just to get around.
The father of three, who is not able to speak properly, struggles even to feed himself.
Having lived with motor neuron disease (MND) since 2013, Harck wants the right to end his pain and suffering through assisted dying.
