Disturbing video captures moment woman plunged to death in horror bungee jump
A 21-year-old woman has died in a tragic accident in São Paulo, Brazil, after a botched bungee-jumping incident at the “Skeleton Bridge” in Limeira on Saturday, June 13.
Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas was reportedly forced off the platform by event staff before her safety harness was attached to the bungee line, according to reports by The Sun.
Disturbing footage of the incident, which has gone viral, shows two men carrying her onto the jumping platform before pushing her off, despite onlookers shouting that she was not secured.
She fell about 130 feet into a rocky canyon below.
