President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that the troops of the Security Service of Ukraine struck an oil facility in Russia’s Yaroslavl region, 700 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, and that the Defense Forces struck the Azot plant in Russia’s Tula region.

According to Ukrinform, Zelensky announced this on Facebook and released a video.

“Our warriors have achieved good results in applying long-range sanctions against important facilities on the territory of Russia and in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. More than 700 kilometers from our state border, in Russia’s Yaroslavl region, SSU warriors struck an oil facility that was important for the reserves of the aggressor state. Warriors of our army reached their targets in Russia’s Tula region – specifically, the Azot plant, whose operations are critical to explosives production capabilities,” Zelensky stated.

He said that air traffic restrictions were also imposed at six Russian airports, and air raid alerts were declared in 28 regions of Russia since yesterday evening.

There were also strikes on the military logistics of the Russian invaders in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
