Parade. Thursday. Manhattan.

— Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani (@NYCMayor) June 14, 2026Though we don’t know much, the last major New York sports championship parade was for the New York Giants in February 2012. After the Giants beat the New England Patriots 21-17 in that year’s Super Bowl, quarterback Eli Manning led the team through Manhattan for the parade. The route moved north along the Canyon of Heroes on Broadway, starting at Battery Place and Washington Street and ending at City Hall, as the players were showered with ticker tape. There hasn’t been a full release on whether the Knicks will follow a similar route, as champagne is likely still dripping from the visitors locker room in San Antonio, but New York will get its chance to celebrate its newest throng of heroes Thursday.
