Efi Baldwin says she raised concerns about Coach Tab Baldwin to Ateneo years ago.Efi Baldwin, a woman who identified herself as the estranged wife of Ateneo men's basketball head coach Tab Baldwin, has publicly claimed that she previously warned university officials about her concerns regarding her husband.
In a video posted through social media on June 13, Efi said she had repeatedly urged Ateneo to distance Coach Tab from the campus environment, alleging that the school failed to act on her warnings. The statement surfaced days after the deaths of student-athletes Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili, a tragedy that put the school's basketball program into sharper focus.
According to Efi, she informed university officials years ago that they should remove Coach Tab from his position and take steps to ensure the safety of their students.
