In a title bout for the championship, San Antonio-native Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez takes on Houstonian boxer Antonio Vargas in a 12-round match. What’s on the line? Vargas’ WBA bantamweight title belt. At the end of the contest, one of these fighters will have the title — or it will end with a draw.

On Saturday, June 13, Rodriguez (23-0-0) vs. Vargas (19-1-1) takes place at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona with a start time of 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. Ringwalk for the main event is expected around 9:35 p.m. ET/6:35 a.m. PT.

For the Matchroom Boxing bout, Rodriguez moved up in weight class from super flyweight to bantamweight in the hopes of winning another world title. He also holds titles in super flyweight and flyweight classes. However, Vargas is the bigger of the two boxers and is a formidable opponent.

Rodriguez vs. Vargas is available as a premium live boxing event, so it’s free to watch for DAZN subscribers.
