US President Donald Trump says a deal between Washington and Tehran will be signed on Sunday, and the Strait of Hormuz will be “open to all” immediately after the signing.
Trump’s comments appear to contradict Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei, who earlier said the document will not be signed on Sunday but could be in the “coming days”.
