Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd., (KRCL) has implemented a comprehensive monsoon action plan focused on infrastructure strengthening, geo-safety measures, real-time monitoring systems, intensified patrolling and emergency response preparedness to ensure safe and reliable train operations.The monsoon timetable will be in effect from June 15 to October 20, 2026, with sectional speed restrictions implemented across the route to ensure safe train operations during the monsoon, said a release.
Catch Water Drain (CWD) has been cleared near a hill cutting to prevent runoff of heavy rain water along the Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd., network recently at Sarzora in Goa.
