A 26-year-old man ended his life in Namakkal and, in a note, demanded action be taken on the illegal sale of liquor on Friday (June 12, 2026).According to the police, S. Prabakaran, a resident of Senthamangalam, was a driver. He was addicted to liquor, which had affected his health, and was undergoing treatment. Meanwhile, on Thursday night (June 11, 2026) he ended his life.The Senthamangalam police sent the body for a post-mortem and seized a note from the deceased. The note, which was reportedly written by the deceased, urged the Chief Minister to prohibit the sale of illegal liquor in the locality.
