Say the score is 3-0 … at halftime. The text comes in…My answer: “It’s 28-0.” (Again, at halftime.)That was me last night as the U.S. men’s national time was simply destroying a solid Paraguay side. Who knew?Yes, Paraguay scored to make it 3-1 late in the second half, but in (American) football speak, this ended as a 42-7 romp. Dominant. Moments of nerves quickly gave way to the reality that one team was just vastly superior. And if you are a soccer hardcore, it was shocking. The U.S. men’s national team has simply never looked this utterly dominant on this stage. The key things to know given, well, it is just one game:
