Watch live as Britain marks King Charles III’s official birthday with the iconic Trooping the Colour ceremony on Saturday (13 June).Over 1400 parading soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians come together to march down The Mall in honur of His Majesty’s milestone.The event, also known as the King’s Birthday parade, will commence with a 41-gun salute fired by The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery and a royal salute on Horse Guards Parade in Whitehall. The colour – regimental flag – being trooped this year is the King’s Colour of the Grenadier Guards presented by the King earlier this week during a Buckingham Palace ceremony and it will be escorted during the event by guardsmen from the King’s Company.On horseback will be the Royal Colonels – the Prince of Wales, Colonel of the Welsh Guards, the Princess Royal, Colonel Blues and Royals, and the Duke of Edinburgh, Colonel Scots Guards.The Queen, the Princess of Wales and the Duchess of Edinburgh are likely to be among members of the royal family watching the event.Fans will hope Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will make an appearance as they did last year.
