The Coimbatore police on Friday (June 12, 2026) arrested a man for allegedly growing cannabis at Pannimadai.Madhabananda Jena, 46, a worker hailing from Odisha, was arrested for growing two cannabis plants. Personnel from Thadagam police station searched the premises of the place where Jena was residing based on specific information on Friday.The police found two cannabis plants measuring about seven feet.
