Signalling George Clooney's comeback to directing, the war drama attracted a roster of enormously prestigious names from its inception.The satirical dark comedy miniseries constituted another endeavour to transfer Heller's distinguished war novel onto screen, this occasion for television viewers, and the undertaking appears to have succeeded, reports the Liverpool Echo.‌Achieving a strong approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, Catch-22 (the miniseries) has been characterised as 'exceedingly good' by audiences.The series showcases Christopher Abbott in the lead role, portraying Captain John 'Yo-Yo' Yossarian.
