A woman who allegedly dealt cannabis in exchange for cat food has been arrested after police uncovered a trove of weapons, drugs and gold bullion in her Northern Territory home.
NT police said they started to suspect something fishy after receiving multiple reports of teenagers stealing cat food from a supermarket in the Palmerston suburb of Bakewell in April.
After the teens were arrested, police said they reported they had been "stealing the cat food to exchange it for cannabis from a woman at a residence in [the suburb of] Gray".
