Washington Examiner columnist Joe Concha said Vice President JD Vance will look more “statesman-like” than The View’s co-hosts during his appearance on the show next week. Vance will be joining the daytime talk show on Tuesday to promote his new book, Communion: Finding My Way Back to Faith, which will be released the same day.Concha predicted Friday on Fox & Friends First that the hosts won’t show “class,” saying Vance’s appearance will be a “game of gotcha.”
“We know how this is going to go,” Concha said. “Vance will not be asked questions as much as he’ll be lectured to in the form of a question. Just like we see with these lectures on Capitol Hill.”
Concha said going on the show is “beyond smart” for Vance.
“This will arguably be the most anticipated interview we have seen in the history of The View,” Concha said. “We just don’t see conservatives, Republicans on there almost ever.”
All six hosts will be at the table for Vance’s appearance: Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Ana Navarro.
