The Telangana Fire Services Department has cancelled the Fire No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued to the commercial building housing Niloufer Cafe on Road No. 12, Banjara Hills, following the detection of multiple fire safety violations during a surprise inspection.The inspection was conducted after recent fire incidents in the State resulted in loss of life and property. Fire Services officials inspected the commercial building and found several irregularities and violations of fire licence conditions.According to the department, the establishment was operating a full-fledged restaurant above the fourth floor, which officials described as an unauthorised activity and a violation of the conditions under which the fire clearance had been granted.Based on the findings and citing an imminent danger to human life and property, Director General of Telangana Fire Services Vikram Singh Mann cancelled the Fire NOC of the establishment.The Fire Services Department said the decision was taken in view of the seriousness of the violations and the potential safety risks posed to occupants and visitors.The official urged citizens to follow all fire safety precautions and preventive measures.
