Governor S. Abdul Nazeer has congratulated Andhra Pradesh Nataka Akademi Chairman Gummadi Gopalakrishna for winning the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in the acting category for his contribution to Padya Natakam (Telugu verse drama form).In a release issued from Lok Bhavan on Friday, the Governor said Mr. Gopalakrishna is an exponent of Padya Natakam and that the award is a recognition of his efforts towards the promotion and preservation of the classical theatrical tradition.
