The Soundcore P30i earbuds are able to reduce outside noises by up to 42dB when using active noise cancellation. When turned on, it’s able to work automatically, adjusting to the noise of your environment in real time.
If you’re in a situation that requires you stay aware of your surroundings, you can flip the earbuds over to Transparency Mode. This will allows those outside noises to pass through.

Phone Stand?
Yeah so this is an odd little feature I’m not against. The charging case does more than just recharge the eabuds and keep them protected. You can open up the shell, set it on a flat surface like a table or desk, and then use it as a phone stand. You can set up your phone horizontally to catch up on some YouTube, or see how the Knicks are doing, while listening in on the Soundcore earburds themselves. Seems great for travel.
