In a State House release issued on Thursday, Gbajabiamila had categorically stated that the PFIPC is unrecognised by the Federal Government and does not exist under President Tinubu’s administration.

The Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, has come under heavy fire following a disclaimer where he distanced the presidency from the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC) and the purported appointment of Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi.

In a State House release issued on Thursday, Gbajabiamila had categorically stated that the PFIPC is unrecognised by the Federal Government and does not exist under President Tinubu’s administration.

He had warned the public, diplomatic missions, and multilateral institutions to disregard any claims of appointments associated with the council.

However, the disclaimer has triggered a fierce backlash from civil societies including the Accountability Response Group of Nigeria (ARGN).
