Stalin, addressing the party district secretaries’ meeting at ‘Anna Arivalayam’ in Chennai, said he took responsibility for the defeat of the party’s defeat in the 2026 Assembly elections.Mr. Stalin said there was a need for introspection and to elicit the opinion of party members at all levels on the reasons for the defeat. “We should listen to their views. I am going to launch a field study on behalf of the party headquarters and present a report.
