Sophie Kasaei and Jordan Brook have welcomed their first child after years of struggling with their fertility and shortly after Jordan's battle with viral meningitis and encephalitis12:36, 12 Jun 2026Updated 12:55, 12 Jun 2026Sophie Kasaei and Jordan Brook have welcomed their first child together. After years of struggling with fertility, the couple have welcomes a 'miracle' baby boy. They posted a snap of their son to Instagram and wrote: "A moment we had dreamed of for so long. We can’t believe he is finally here, healthy and happy. Baby, Brody Jordan Daryll Brook. Born 11/06/26. You are our little miracle who has completed us. Mummy and Daddy love you."Commenting underneath the post, Jordan said: "The most amazing feeling I have ever felt. My Boy, you are my everything and more. I can’t wait to show you this big wide world. My @sophiekasaei_ thank you for giving me the world. I adore you."The happy news comes after the two struggled with fertility for years. The two had battled fertility issues for two years before, including a chemical pregnancy, which is a pregnancy loss that occurs very early on, usually just after the embryo implants.Last year, Geordie Shore star Sophie announced that she had started Lymphocyte Immunisation Therapy (LIT), which is designed to improve fertility by analysing the immune system.Taking to Instagram, the TV star said: "After 28 months our fertility journey continues. Today we are heading to @fertilysis to start our first round of Lit therapy amongst other treatments. Our biggest leap forwards on our journey in what feels like forever."As a team we are taking every day, week and month as it comes. We will not give up. Thank you to every single friend, member of our families and everyone else who continues to reach out with kind words and support it really does mean the world. To those who are also in the same boat. Keep going. Keep communicating and keep exploring."In news that overjoyed everyone, Sophie was soon able to share that she was pregnant, and she and Jordan had a huge baby shower to celebrate, which featured on the first episode of TOWIE's latest season. The birth of their son has also come just a few months after Jordan was discharged from hospital after being left unable to walk following viral meningitis which made his brain swell. The Towie star was in hospital for 22 days as he tried to recover and thankfully he was able to tell fans in May that his liver count was back to normal after having come close to liver failure.Jordan opened up about his recent battle with meningitis during an appearance on Good Morning Britain. He had originally been told his symptoms were a migraine, and was sent home before returning to his GP as his pain increased, and was rushed to A&E.On GMB, he began by saying this was the first day he’d had that gave him a “sense of normality”, after fearing that “would never happen” just a week prior.“I felt like someone had a hot corkscrew out of a fire and was screwing it into my temple. I was in agony. It was making me sick, I was projectile vomiting all over the house, in the bed, bright yellow because I wasn’t eating,” he said.Sophie was also banned from visiting him in hospital, because if Jordan had been infected with bacterial meningitis, it would have been a risk for her and their unborn child.Doctors also had to warn Jordan of all the worst-case scenarios, and he grew emotional remembering the words they told him. “This makes me so emotional,” he told Ranvir and Kate. “Doctors said, we can’t rule out brain cancer, because they have to tell you every worst case.”Following the birth of their baby, Sophie and Jordan were supported by many celebs. These included Scarlett Moffatt who said: "Huge congratulations, he is so beautiful. The first day of family life."Fellow TOWIE star Harry Derbridge said: "HE IS HERE. Congratulations both of you. I can’t wait to meet him." Geordie Shore's Chloe Ferry said: "Omg congratulations, love you".Article continues belowJoin The Mirror’s WhatsApp Community or follow us on Google News , Flipboard , Apple News , TikTok , Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , ** Facebook**, YouTube and Threads - or visit The Mirror homepage .
