New York Giants coach John Harbaugh played the song “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire at the start of a team meeting to kick-off minicamp on Monday. The song selection was a reminder that while the Giants were set to finish up their offseason program, the actual season isn’t far away.The Giants wrapped up their offseason program Wednesday and will get a seven-week break before reporting to West Virginia for training camp in late July. Nabers’ recovery from a knee injury has been challenging, as he underwent surgery to repair the ACL and meniscus in his right knee last October. He underwent a second “clean-up” surgery this spring to remove scar tissue that was causing stiffness in his knee.Nabers did his rehab work this spring inside the Giants’ facility out of the view of reporters. His only public appearance came at Brian Burns’ celebrity softball game on May 30. It was encouraging that Nabers participated in the game, but discouraging to see how much he favored his knee.
