Should all the planned closures proceed, Lloyds Banking Group will be left with 531 branches nationwide.‌The north-west and south-east of England are set to be amongst the worst-affected areas, with 12 branches in each region marked for closure. A further 10 branches in London will also shut their doors.‌The banking group stated that customers would retain access to services through other brands within its network, including Lloyds Bank, Halifax and Bank of Scotland branches.
