The KT Wiz announced Friday they signed left-hander Logan Allen as an injury replacement for their ace Caleb Boushley.
Allen will make $125,000 to fill in for Boushley for six weeks, the Wiz added.
Teams in the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) are allowed to sign temporary replacements for foreign players sidelined for a minimum of six weeks.
Boushley is out with a shoulder injury that the Wiz said Tuesday will keep him out for four to six weeks. The right-hander will be reevaluated in three weeks.
