Ultimately, after local protests against the event as well as concerns about preparations, Ye withdrew from the lineup and the entire festival was canceled. At the time, Varga said the failure of the festival was due to financial regulations, and that Ye shouldn't be blocked from performing due to past missteps, in a statement to Forbes Slovakia. Rambová also echoed the sentiment that Ye should be free to perform despite antisemitic remarks he made in the past.US rapper and producer Kanye West performs on stage during a concert at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul as part of his tour ''YE Live in Istanbul'' on May 30, 2026.
