MANILA, Philippines — Levito Baligod, lawyer of the “18 bodyguards” of former lawmaker Zaldy Co, on Thursday rejected accusations linking the group to a supposed security threat at the Senate.
Senate President Pro Tempore Sherwin Gatchalian, citing information from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), said the individuals, who introduced themselves as former bagmen of Co, may be connected to the alleged threat.
