UFC fighter Bo Nickal said he attributes his success to faith and is “locking in” for this weekend’s historic Freedom 250 fight on the White House South Lawn.“I’m a machine here. I’m not worried about anything other than this guy that’s in front of me and his two arms and two legs and his head,” Nickal said on Fox News’s Hang Out With Sean Hannity on Thursday.Nickal will face Kyle Daukaus in a middleweight fight as part of Freedom 250.
The Penn State alum said once a fight starts, he turns the “emotion off” and any “layer of hesitancy.”
Nickal said his “goals have always been huge,” and that he uses his struggles and failures as motivation.
Above all, he said his faith made him who he is and helped him “be the same person all the time.”
“I believe I’m created in the image of God. I believe he has a purpose for me and loves me regardless of whether I win or lose,” Nickal said.
