Former Strictly Come Dancing professional Oti Mabuse has announced that she is pregnant with her second child but revealed that she attempted to keep the news a secret from her Loose Women co-stars during the initial stages18:29, 11 Jun 2026Oti Mabuse tried to keep her pregnancy a secret from her Loose Women co-stars. The Strictly Come Dancing professional, 35, already has an 18-month-old daughter, whose name she has chosen not to reveal publicly, with her husband Marius Iepure, announced on Thursday that she was expecting again.‌But just hours after revealing the news, Oti, who is away filming in Italy at the moment, dialled into the ITV lunchtime chat show to update Kaye Adams, Denise Welch, Sunetra Sarker and Judi Love, and explained that she struggled to hide it from anchor Kaye, along with fellow journalist Jane Moore.‌She said: "I was at Loose Women and my husband was there, I'd just filmed the show. He said 'Babe, you've just filmed the show with Kaye and Jane Moore, I don't think you can hide it from them.'‌"He shifted a little bit to the left, to the right, [and said] 'It's so obvious!' I am four months now."Oti, who has carved out a successful career at ITV with Dancing on Ice and I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! since quitting the BBC Saturday night favourite in 2020, also explained that she struggled during the initial stages of her pregnancy even though she continued to appear on air.‌She added: "I got loads of morning sickness, even at work, I have to be quiet on the panel just to make sure that the nausea goes away."I drink loads of peppermint tea, that was my thing, and ginger tea. The first trimester was hard but like anything, you get over it, so I survived it!"On Thursday, Oti took to social media to announce the news that another little one is on the way.‌She wrote on Instagram: "Plot twist. We thought we had our hands full already, but life had even bigger plans.
