An epithelium-off corneal cross-linking treatment has been approved in the U.S. for nearly a decade.During that time, we have seen that the procedure halts keratoconus, restoring corneal stability and preserving vision. It has contributed to a dramatic reduction in the need for corneal transplants, which means better visual and quality-of-life outcomes for our patients with keratoconus.
