Evans was a member of Great Britain's victorious Davis Cup team in 2015 and secured two ATP Tour titles, including the ATP 500 in Washington in 2023. He achieved a career-high ranking of world No 21 and notably partnered Andy Murray in the men's doubles at the 2024 Paris Olympics, reaching the quarter-finals. In an Instagram post, Evans expressed profound gratitude to his family and team, highlighting that representing Great Britain in the Davis Cup and Olympics was the greatest honour of his career. His career also saw him reach two Masters 1000 semi-finals, though it was interrupted by a one-year ban in 2017 after he tested positive for cocaine.
