A jewellery and gemstone exhibition-cum-sale organised by the Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Development Corporation is under way at the Poompuhar sales centre here that will continue till June 27.According to a press release, a wide range of jewellery items, including gold-plated bangles, pearl and gemstone ornaments, zodiac rings, Panchaloha and Navaratna rings, Rudraksha and Tulsi malas, sandalwood and ebony bead garlands, and other traditional ornaments, are on display.The exhibition also features newly introduced collections such as ruby, sapphire, amethyst, pink quartz, jade and garnet jewellery, designer necklaces, children’s bracelets, seven-chakra bracelets and other gemstone-based accessories. Gold-plated and silver jewellery are available at discounted prices, with items priced from ₹250 onwards, the release said.
