The Madlanga Commissioners wore Bafana Bafana jerseys while urging South Africans to support the national team ahead of its 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign kicking off in Mexico.
The Madlanga Commission donned Bafana Bafana jerseys as it called on South Africans to rally behind the national team ahead of its opening 2026 FIFA World Cup fixture.
This comes as Bafana Bafana are set to kick off their FIFA World Cup campaign at 9pm SA time on Thursday evening, although the official opening ceremony will take place long before the first ball is kicked on the turf of the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.
The opening ceremony is expected to last close to 90 minutes and will begin at 7.30pm SA time.
Madlanga made the remarks at the start of proceedings, where members of the Commission wore Bafana Bafana jerseys in a show of support for the national team.
