South African media personality Pearl Thusi recently shared the most vulnerable truth about herself regarding her stance on marriage and why she has chosen to stay single for almost three years now.
Thusi appeared on “The Motherhood Network” podcast with Nandi Madida and candidly said that she does not see herself getting married anytime soon.
She reflected on her parents' relationship, how abusive it was and tearfully shared that although her father was good, he was also abusive towards her mother and for a long time, she blamed him for her mother’s death.
“So my father had a very tumultuous relationship with my mom. I think it is one of the reasons that I run away from marriage a lot cause I, for a long time, believed that my mom kind of died because she was married.
