Trinamool Congress MP Shatrughan Sinha on Thursday reaffirmed his loyalty to party chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, saying he would not abandon her during difficult times, shortly after extending wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completing 12 years in office.Speaking to PTI, Sinha said, “Mamata Banerjee stood by me in my difficult time. I will not leave Mamata Banerjee in her difficult time.”The remarks came after the actor-turned-politician posted a message on X congratulating Modi on his 12-year tenure at the Centre.“In true sportsman spirit, wishing our friend & guide of society/nation hon’ble PM Narendra Modi best wishes on completing 12yrs in office, perhaps the longest tenure, ever. Wish you a long, healthy & prosperous life ahead.
