Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has unveiled his deputy, Obafemi Hamzat, as the state governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress and Princess Damilola Sonayon-James as his running mate.
In a post via his verified X handle on Thursday, Sanwo-Olu described the pair as a team equipped to sustain and advance the state’s development.
The governor stated that the choice of the candidates reflects the administration’s commitment to continuity, competence, and inclusive leadership.
“The true test of sustainable governance is the ability to pass the baton to proven hands, guided by minds that see the future clearly,” the governor said.
