An increasing number of farmers are using drones to spray and spread fertilizer on their land.
RNZ's Business Editor Corin Dann visited the "Drone Zone" at Fieldays to see the tech for himself.
He spoke to AeroLab owner Craig Simpson, who said that drones are now at the stage that they were replacing helicopters, but added there were also specific situations when only drones could get the job done.
