The U.S. military hit Iranian surveillance infrastructure, communications systems and air‑defense sites across multiple locations.According to CENTCOM, the targets were selected because they posed "a threat to U.S. forces and international commercial ships transiting regional waters."The military characterized the action as a direct response to "unwarranted and continued aggression" by Iran. Those conversations are sometimes better left in private. I would say he's been a good partner."Vance added that the U.S. and Israel do not always share the same interests and placed the responsibility on Netanyahu: "What I've seen with the prime minister is that he aggressively asserts the interests of his country. Sometimes that means we're on the same page and sometimes it means we are not."He added that Israel has "been a great partner in a lot of ways, but we also have to focus on what is in America's best interest.
