Muller was found at his gated, five-bedroom property on Langley Road in the village of Claverdon, Warwickshire, in the early hours on June 7 morning, the Stratford Herald reported.
Ambulance crews alerted police at 6:15 a.m. about a man in his 50s who needed urgent care for a stab wound to his chest, according to a Warwickshire Police statement. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:37 a.m.
A 55-year-old woman from Birmingham was arrested at 7:33 a.m. on suspicion of murder and has since been released on bail, police said. The force said there was no wider risk to the public and that an investigation was underway.
Muller had been named group CEO of Derby-based Node4 in April. Node4, which describes itself as an AI business solutions and managed service provider and is one of the Midlands' largest technology companies, is backed by private equity firm Providence Equity Partners and employs around 1,100 staff. Muller had been brought in to sharpen the company's strategy and expand its AI-augmented services.
In a statement, a Node4 spokesman said the company was "absolutely devastated" by Muller's death.
