New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his speech at the NDA Conclave marking his historic milestone as India's longest-serving elected Prime Minister, presented a detailed account of the work done under the NDA government over the last 12 years and set ambitious goals for the years ahead."Our mantra has been 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas aur Sabka Prayas.' Sabka Prayas is the true energy behind building a developed India. Now is the time for a new kind of healthy competition among states. India's progress will come from such progress of the states. Let us make the next decade not only one of achievements but also of excellence," PM Modi said.PM Modi also highlighted the challenges faced by economies across the world and how India has fared in comparison despite the odds."Today, the major economies are facing significant challenges. Despite this global slowdown, India achieved a remarkable growth rate of 7.7% in 2025-26. We have transformed from being one of the 'Fragile Five' economies to becoming the fastest-growing economy in the world," he said.Recalling the 12-year governance journey, Modi said the story from 2014 to 2026 is not just about numbers but about India realising its full potential and moving forward. In doing so, he also referred to previous governments and highlighted the difference between the approaches of the two dispensations."One of the greatest achievements of the NDA's 12 years of governance is that the country has broken free from the vicious cycle imposed by Congress," he said. "Under Congress rule, the nation was pushed into despair and an inferiority complex. Citizens were led to believe that development could only occur slowly, with this stagnation cleverly labeled as the 'Hindu Growth Rate'. This term reflected the Congress work culture, its lack of responsibility, and repeated failures, while unfairly stigmatizing the Hindu community."Modi replaced the term 'Hindu Growth Rate' with 'Congress Growth Rate', describing it as a reflection of the absence of effective governance, clear policy, genuine intent and decisive action. All Union ministers and NDA leaders from different states, chief ministers and deputy CMs were present at the NDA Conclave at Bharat Mandapam.Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu moved a resolution of gratitude, praising PM Modi's visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to a Nation First approach."I table before this august gathering a resolution of gratitude, a historic tribute to India's longest serving elected Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Ji. The right leader at the right time at the right place... He is both our anchor and our innovator. Working with a single agenda - Nation First... The resolution was unanimously adopted by NDA leaders.Several Union ministers, including Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, as well as NDA leaders including Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Union Minister Chirag Paswan, spoke on the resolution.PM, in his speech, termed the resolution an achievement of all NDA members. "On this occasion, the members of the NDA family have presented a resolution. I view this not as a personal achievement, but as a testament to your generosity and our collective efforts. From every perspective, this accomplishment belongs to all of us-it is equally the achievement of every NDA member. Therefore, I dedicate this resolution to all members of the NDA, including the dedicated BJP karyakartas," he said.
