Stephen Ogilvie remains in a serious condition in hospital after Monday night’s horrific knife attack in north Belfast. He has lost an eye and has injuries to his back and neck. His family said today “unrest is not welcome,” urging people not to use the attack to fuel hostility against migrants.
That hostility was on full view last night as crowds including masked men burned cars and set fire to houses, with families forced to flee their homes.
