About 25 firefighters drawn in from across the Far North spent four hours battling a house fire in Kaikohe overnight.Fire and Emergency was called at 1.04am, with the single-storey home engulfed by fire when crews arrived, Fire and Emergency northern shift manager Garreth Lewis said.The fire was extinguished and firefighters left the scene around 5am.
