Health Minister K. Muraleedharan has said that the ‘Kayakalpam’ public outreach initiative of the Health department, which was launched in Kozhikode on Tuesday (June 9, 2026), will be held in other districts from July.A release quoting the Minister said on Wednesday (June 10, 2026) that steps would be taken to inspect the condition of government hospital buildings in Kozhikode district. A list of equipment required for various hospitals would be prepared. The Government Taluk Hospital at Thamarassery would be developed as a speciality headquarters hospital. The staff pattern there would be revised.A proposal would be given for constructing a shelter for the mobile tribal unit at the family health centre, Valayam, using the funds of Shafi Parambil, MP.
