BRAZIL coach Carlo Ancelotti might have the easiest job at the 2026 Fifa World Cup.

With a squad roster that already reads like the shortlist for the World Cup dream team — Alisson and Ederson between the sticks; Gabriel Magalhães and Marquinhos in defence; Casemiro, Bruno Guimarães and Lucas Paquetá in the midfield — you can already see where this is going.

And we’ve yet to tap into the forward pack, which boasts names such as Vinicius Junior, Neymar Jr, Raphinha, Matheus Cunha, Gabriel Martinelli, Igor Thiago and the young Endrick.

And yet, the Seleção’s secret weapon this time around is not even among their players; rather, he comes in the form of a Don — the Italian-born, respect-commanding tactician Carlo Ancelotti.

To some, he is affectionately known as Don Carlo; others have long preferred to refer to him as King Carlo, or more recently Carletto. The former AC Milan, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Napoli and Real Madrid boss has just extended his stay with the Seleção beyond the 2030 World Cup.
