Passengers on a bus heading towards Feroke held their breath for a few tense moments on Wednesday (June 10, 2026) morning when a toddler was spotted sitting in the middle of a wet road at Valiyaparamba near Pulikkal.The child, believed to be over a year old, had wandered onto the road from the nearby home, while the child’s parents attended to their morning chores. The toddler was the child of one Rameez.As the bus approached, driver Ramachandran spotted the child a few metres ahead and brought the vehicle to a halt. Conductor Navas then ran out and lifted the toddler to safety before another vehicle reached the spot.Passengers watched the dramatic moments unfold in silence, fearing the worst as the child sat on the rain-soaked road.
