LUCENA CITY, Quezon — The Roman Catholic Diocese of Lucena has directed all parish priests to conduct a second collection during Masses on June 13 and 14 to help victims of the deadly and devastating earthquake that struck Mindanao on Monday, June 8.
In a circular issued Wednesday, June 10, Bishop Mel Rey Uy instructed parish priests, parochial vicars, religious communities, and the lay faithful across the Diocese of Lucena to hold a second collection in all anticipated and Sunday Masses.

“I am directing that a second collection be taken in all anticipated and Sunday Masses on June 13–14, 2026,” Uy said.FEATURED STORIES
