Charity spoke to a detective about what happened to her, and who was to blame.‌Exposing Todd, Charity then underwent a medical examination in the hope of there being evidence of the assault. While Charity has been desperate to get justice this week, it seems next week she's desperate to hide her ordeal.Viewers who have seen Wednesday's episode know that something happens that could stop Charity's chances of getting justice. There's an update for Charity after Todd is arrested and questioned about the allegation.‌There's also some news by the detective that leaves Charity heartbroken. As we head into next week, Charity is in the midst of a breakdown, with her not able to cope.She has an excuse ready though, telling her loved ones and GP Manpreet Sharma that she is suffering from postnatal depression. She lies that this is what is going on, not mentioning the horrific sexual assault she was subjected to recently.So it seems she's covering up the assault, while Manpreet prescribes medication for Charity. Charity feels more alone than ever with her new lie, unable to open up about what happened to her.‌With Mack telling Sarah about Charity's troubles, Charity is upset. Sarah feels guilty, blaming herself, not realising it isn't PND that is causing Charity to sprial.Sarah tries to get Charity to open up to her but she refuses. She just diverts the converation back to the postnatal depression and lack of sleep, and Sarah's gutted to think the pregnancy is what's caused Charity's pain.‌But with Charity seemingly on self-destruct and taking sleeping pills while hitting the booze, how long can she keep up her latest lie? Will she confide in someone about the horrific truth about her sexual assault, and that Todd is to blame?It's yet to be revealed where the storyline will go next, especially after Wednesday's episode.
