Vilnius Airport will see a significant increase in direct flights to Tel Aviv this summer, with two airlines expanding services and a third resuming earlier than planned, Lithuanian Airports announced on Wednesday.
Israeli carrier Arkia, which only began flying from Vilnius in May, will nearly double its frequency during the peak summer months of July and August, rising from three to five flights per week.
Fellow Israeli airline Israir already operates three weekly flights on the route.
Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air will also resume direct services a month ahead of schedule, launching on August 6 with two flights per week, rising to four per week in the months that follow.
