Finnish AI startup Rotomate raised €2.1 million in pre-seed funding led by Nordic industrial tech investor Kvanted.

The company has built software that replaces generic monitoring alerts with full diagnostic reports, cutting manual monitoring time by up to 83%, according to the company.

Rotomate’s customers include Metsä Group, SSAB, and Aurubis, with a combined annual production base exceeding €35 billion.

European factories collect more machine data than ever. A single shift failure can still cost close to €1 million in lost output. The gap between those two facts, including data that exists but cannot be acted on fast enough, is the problem Rotomate was built to close.
