UN rights office to deploy investigators to Lebanon over alleged war violations

BEIRUT: The UN human rights office said it will send a team of investigators to Lebanon next week to collect evidence on potential violations of international law committed by all parties since the start of the war in March. The office said it had reached an agreement with the Lebanese government to deploy the team, which will examine alleged abuses and gather documentation on possible violations during the conflict.
